I read everything. I answer what I can, usually within a few days.
What is worth writing about
- Corrections. These go to the top of the pile. If a price has changed, a link is dead, or something here is simply wrong, tell me and I will fix the article and say that it was updated.
- Article requests. If there is a household problem you cannot find an honest answer to anywhere, that is exactly the kind of thing this site exists for.
- Your own experience. If you have actually done the thing an article only researched — cancelled the subscriptions, run the command centre for a month — I would genuinely like to hear how it went.
- Business enquiries. Advertising, partnerships and press.
What I will not do
- Guest posts and link insertions. Every article here is written for this site. I do not publish submitted posts and I do not add links to existing articles in exchange for payment or reciprocal links. Please do not ask.
- Paid positive reviews. A verdict is not for sale. If a product is worth recommending the article will say so, and if it is not it will say that instead.
- Personal advice. I am not a financial adviser, an accountant, a lawyer or a medical professional, and nothing on this site is a substitute for one. I cannot tell you what to do with your own money or your own family.
A note on privacy
When you email, your message and address sit in an ordinary mailbox and are used only to reply to you. They are not added to a mailing list and not passed to anyone else. The Privacy Policy covers the rest.
